SWPCA Winter Show - 9th November

Had to get up at silly o'clock to travel the 3 hours to Swpca show at Ingliston Equestrian.
Decided to have an easy day taking just Georgie Boy and Barbie.
Barbie won a very strong section B foal class then was awarded Overall Foal Champion.
Georgie won his class and then the 2/3 year old championship, then into the afternoon performances where Georgie was Overall Youngstock Champion then amazingly he was pulled forward Supreme In Hand pony of show this being the 3rd time Georgie has been supreme at this show and the 4th year on the trot that we have been supreme so the Mindy Mason Memorial Trophy is again in the Goldenwood Household.

Puddledub Foal & Youngstock Show - 12th October

Had a brilliant day out at our first winter show of season. Barbie Doll won her foal class with our Forlan colt 3rd. Sweet Elation also won her class.
Barbie doll then went in against all the winning foals from the show and got Overall Foal Champion then Reserve Supreme of the show to a Show Hack mare.

Scottish All Welsh Bronze Medal Show - 24th August

Another early start for our 3 hour journey to Scottish All Welsh show. Georgie Boy, Sweet Elation and Carrwood Adenoig all won their B classes and Georgie Boy was Youngstock Section B Champion.
Well thats or summer shows finished for another season, roll on the foal shows. 

NPS Finals,Blair Castle - 22nd August

Decided at last minute to take Georgie Boy to NPS Finals at Blair castle.
He was 2nd in a very strong youngstock class albeit a bit disappointing.
Had a lovely time walking around all the stands and watching some ridden classes.

Puddledub Summer Show - 10th August

Another successful day with our new girl Carrwood Adenoig at her first show with us coming home with a Champion and a Reserve Champion.

Cadlanvalley Sweet Elation won both her classes and a championship as well.

We did get rather wet with some very torrential downpours.

Turriff Agricltural Show - 3rd August

Cadlanvalley Georgie Boy was our only entry today. Again another good selection of ponies,

classes have been strong this year. He won his class and went small breeds champion, that

trot of his just gets bigger and bigger. In the supreme he was awarded supreme native pony.

Royal Welsh Show - 21st - 24th July

HOLIDAY!! This is what the Royal Welsh is to us, that and the chance to show against the best in the country.
Travelled down Friday night arriving Saturday lunchtime, ponies travelled well and were soon happily settled in. We set up camp and looked forward to the week ahead.
Sunday saw us hiring a car and going to visit cadlanvalley stud, it was lovely to see all their beautiful ponies. We popped in to visit our foal Goldenwood Showman who is with Pat Burnie. First time we have seen him and he is lovely.
Our classes were all on on the Wednesday. The classes were as you would expect well filled with very good opposition.Cadlanvalley sweet Elation did so well to get 4th in a really good B filly yearling class, very pleased with her. Algrey Finesse's class had 40 or so in it, she made the cut and ended up 15th which was great.
Cadlanvalley Georgie Boy was in an amazingly strong 3yo colt class and came a creditable 4th, he so loves that main ring.
We ended our trip by picking up our lovely new mare, Carrwood Adenoig.

Echt Agricultural Show - 12th July

The classes were strong with some very nice welsh ponies forward. Algey Finesse
was 3rd in a good yearling small breeds class.
Cadlanvalley Georgie Boy won his class went small breeds champion and overall mountain and moorland champion. He then went into the supreme of the show, he loved the space of the main ring and showed his amazing trot to its very best. He went on to be reserve supreme of the show. Another good day

Fettercairn Agricultural Show - 5th July

Our very local show! Great sociable day in the sunshine. Algrey Finesse won her class, found it very exciting with so much going on at a true agricultural show.
Cadlanvalley Georgie Boy won his class and was small breeds champion and reserve overall mountain and moorland.

Alyth Agricultural Show - 28th June

Cadlanvalley Sweet Elation had a solo outing today. She went really nicely and enjoyed her day, winning her class and going champion welsh pony.

Royal Highland Show - 20th June

An early start for our main Scottish show. The Royal Highland now has silver medal status reflected in the increase in numbers and quality of entries.
Algrey Finesse was in the ring first, the A yearling class had a good entry and we were really pleased when she was placed 3rd.
Cadlanvalley Georgie Boy was 1st in his class and after much deliberation just missed out getting something in the championship

NPS Scotland Summer Show - 14th June

Took Cadlanvalley Georgie Boy and Algrey Finesse,we both love this show and its in such a lovely setting.
Wee Nessie had another good day winning a strong yearling class and getting reserve champion youngstock with some lovely comments from the judge. Georgie was 2nd in the home produced section and went reserve champion.

NSWPCA Bronze Medal Show - 8th June

Took Eyarth Kimba and Algrey Finesse to the group medal show under Ifor Lloyd.
Nessie won her yearling section A class and got reserve champion youngstock. Kimba was 2nd in the mare or gelding sect B's.

New Aberdour Show - 1st June

This is the first time we have attended this show and it had very well supported classes. Cadlanvalley Sweet Elation won her youngstock class in good company and Eyarth Kimba was 2nd in a massive adult M & M class.

SARC Summer Show - 25th May

Took Algrey Finesse out to her 3rd show and her first show on grass and she was a wee star and decided she would be in welsh mode today.she won her class and was champion Small M & M.

Fife Agricultural Show - 24th May

Another successful day cadlanvalley Sweet Elation won her class and went reserve champion but had lost her spark by championship. Eyarth kimba was 2nd in a big class and was a bit preoccupied by falling in love with another mares foal. And we had sunshine!!

Welcome Goldenwood Barbie Doll - 22nd May

We are thrilled that our stunning mare Bluerock Bramble has given us a stunning palomino filly Goldenwood Barbie Doll by Russetwood Elation. This filly will be retained and joins her full sister CV Sweet Elation.

Brechin Spring Show - 4th May

Our stunning Yearling filly Cadlanvalley Sweet Elation made her 2014 show debut today and continued her unbeaten record from her 4 foal show outings in 2013. This filly is very special to us and has such a show ring atitude.Today she won her class,was champion M & M then overall In hand and collected her Blair quaifier at one of first shows of season. Eyarth Kimba was pulled 1st in her class but dropped to 2nd,probably handler fault who was too fat and unfit for undulating ring,lol.

Welcome Goldenwood Showman - 17th April

We are delighted that Cadlanvalley Georgie Boy has his first foal on the ground and a stunning Palomino colt Goldenwood Showman out of stunning homebred mare Goldenwood Showgirl. This colt is being retained. 

NSWPCA Spring Show - 6th April

Took the same two ponies out as last week,  Algrey finesse won her class as did Eyarth Kimba and in a strong championship Kimba was pulled forward as reserve champion

Winter Woollies show - 30th March

Took two new additions to our stud out today for their first outing.Eyarth Kimba won a good class and went M & M champion and Algrey Finesse our newest purchase having her first ever show won her class and went reserve champion to Kimba. Very happy with the girls. 

Royal Northern Spring Show - 26th November

We took our lovely yearling filly Laithehill Jazmine to her first show of 2014 and she was very well behaved and won her yearling class.

We are so pleased be to be purchasing the Lovely Section A yearling filly Algrey Finesse by the outstanding young stallion Colne Turbo out of  top show mare Tryfel Delight..

Eyarth Kimba on Lease to Goldenwood Stud
